UDA Services is a construction company known for decks, patios, and concrete work, with crews that also take on hardscaping, garages, additions, painting, and full residential and commercial builds. Our aim is sound solutions, outstanding craftsmanship, and a build that does not turn into your second job. We support and guide the project from start to finish.

Our Story
Jake Esh Jr. started UDA Services in Lykens with one truck and a handful of tools, taking on whatever work came in and doing it well enough that the next job followed. Business records put the start at late 2018. Those early years meant decks, patios, concrete, and small builds, done by hand and quoted honestly, with the owner on site for every one of them. There was no marketing budget. There was a phone number and a reputation being built one job at a time.
UDA Services now runs multiple crews across decks, patios, hardscaping, and concrete work, through to custom garages, home additions, painting, and full residential and commercial construction. The company handles its own permitting, pours its own concrete, and frames its own additions rather than brokering the work out to whoever is cheapest that month. Jake Esh Jr. still owns it and still turns up on site. Tyler Mace keeps the books and Betti Bopp keeps the office running. The Google profile sits at 4.9 stars.
The direction has not changed much, only the scale. More crews, more capacity for larger residential and commercial builds, and the same standard applied to a shed floor as to a ground-up house. Building the future and restoring the past is how Jake puts it, and around here restoring the past means real work, since much of the housing stock dates to the coal era. The aim is to stay the size where the owner still answers the phone and still knows what is happening on every site.

Between the three of them, the office runs, the books balance, and the crews get where they need to be.
